Project Overview
Panceliac is a brand specialized in gluten-free products that aimed to translate its digital identity into an interactive physical environment. The challenge was to design a kiosk-style interface that would allow users to browse products in-store in an intuitive and accessible way.
01 - Context
Panceliac aimed to enhance the in-store experience through a touchscreen interface displaying products, ingredients, and nutritional values. The goal was to deliver an interaction similar to a McDonald’s kiosk, adapted to the brand’s philosophy and visual identity.
The design focused on usability, accessibility, and visual consistency with the existing brand. A modular system was developed in Figma following the Atomic Design methodology, ensuring scalability and consistency across screens.
METHODOLOGY
The process started with the creation of atoms and molecules (buttons, cards, iconography, typography, and color palette), progressing into organisms and templates. This approach ensured a clear and repeatable structure, speeding up prototyping and enabling future scalability of the system.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- Design an intuitive and visually engaging touch interface.
- Apply Atomic Design methodology to ensure scalability.
- Reinforce Panceliac’s visual identity within a physical environment.
INTERFACE DESIGN
The interface displays the product catalog organized by categories, with a strong focus on readability and smooth touch navigation. Visual microinteractions were implemented to provide immediate user feedback, along with a modular structure that facilitates easy updates of products and promotions.
02 - Results
The final design successfully translated Panceliac’s brand essence into an interactive, accessible, and cohesive format. The interface adapted seamlessly to large touchscreen displays, maintaining readability and visual hierarchy even at a distance.
The modular system built in Figma enabled rapid iteration and allowed the Panceliac team to reuse components for future updates or new product categories. The resulting experience combines clarity of information, visual warmth, and intuitive navigation, enhancing the in-store customer experience.
